Diploma in Optometry

An Optometry is trained to assist the eye Surgeon in all aspects of Optometry including refraction, OPD procedures, ophthalmic nursing and community ophthalmology. The main objective is to prepare the candidate in assisting the Eye Surgeon, in OPD, Ward, Operation Theatre, and in eye camps. This is achieved by supervised practical work and by class room teaching.

Duration of Course: 2 Yrs. for Teaching, 3 Months for Internship.
